Still wiped, but did during down times at work code up a few more preliminary selections for Project 4 and track down texts for a few others. I'm finding some seriously cool stuff for this, which is always fun.

Today's goals: If I get enough brain, work on the Project 3 cover letter. Otherwise, relatively brainless coding continues. And maybe read through more of the Lusiads.

Format: Drabble
Warnings: None.
Notes: 100 words. Takeaway fish and chips is traditionally seen as a dish started by a London Jewish man in the 19th century, based on earlier Jewish recipes. Dagon has been traditionally interpreted as a Canaanite fish-deity (though historically he seems to actually have been a deity involved with grain, and the fish thing is probably based on a misreading of his name). Glasgow fish-and-chips shops were and are (in)famous for their, er, experimental approach to what can be battered and deep-fried.
