Weekend Report

Oct 6: I did get some sewing in after D&D. And some laundry.

Oct 7: I did the rest of the laundry, made work lunches, and prepped veggies for salads for dinner this week.
Then I played video games because the US government is a dumpster fire.
It's 4pm my time and I'm picking up my quilting project as soon as I hit post. Every little bit of progress counts.

Weekend Update (5, 6, & 7)

Didn't get much writing done this weekend, but on the sewing and jewelry fronts I was very productive.

I finished sewing a handbag for my BFF and it came out awesome, and I cut out some fabric for a few fall tops.

And my spoon bender thingy came in the mail yesterday! So I made some spoon rings:

Not so pleased with this one, but then I *am* getting to the dregs of the prompts I'd skipped earlier when I found them uninspiring. I'm also picking the lead/POV characters with a random process so that they wouldn't all be the same. Reynir is kind of annoying sometimes.

Yesterday was a bust because by the time I felt like writing, it was bedtime.

Most of the rest of today was spent at the town's Street Festival, meeting with the architect who's designing our house remodeling project, and doing wash. I have finished my canon re-read and think I know what I'm going to write for Trick or Treat. Three more drabbles and I'll have finished all 100.

First Week Update

So, I haven't got much to report for this week because I've spent all but one day of it flat with a migraine. That said, I still managed to take tiny baby steps toward getting my chores in order (I might only be up for five minutes at a time but that's enough to disinfect kitchen counters, for example.)

The weather system is scheduled to break around Wednesday, so I should be moving forward then, but in the meantime, I keep turning the project around in my head looking for more things to do with it, so that's good.
