So, It's been a hell of a time trying to get stuff done. I've wanted to accomplish so much more than I have but well, I'm going to just not stress about it.

This week, I'm hoping I'm going to hopefully get writing done. Other things would be nice but I started a thing last week and there's something else I want to try and write for, so we'll see how it works.

May this week be awesome for the rest of you and I hope we can all make progress on all our thing.s

I started something for the Day 7 prompt (Naruto) but still haven't touched the Day 5 (music video) and 6 (Chronicles of Amber) prompts.

I'm going to dedicate today to beta reading for some other writers, so I expect I'll be behind a bit further on my stated goal, but I really need to do this.

Congratulations everyone on planning and producing during the first week! Even those of us felled by seasonal sicknesses have been planning, so let's keep up the momentum! <333

Over the weekend I did indeed mark up the first two books, and entered changes for the first. Plus, got the cover copy/book description to at least an unembarrassing state. Did nothing on the cover, though I did get some ideas for interior art. Here's the current description:

The title for the collection comes from the quoted poem.

Goal for today: Enter changes for book 2, mark up book 3. Stretch: Enter changes for book 3, research interior art possibilities.

Oct 7: did get a good bit of sewing done after yesterday afternoon's post. I'm just really slow because this is very new to me.

Goals:
Oct 8: Either knit or sew through Hocus Pocus tonight. Lots of time and a great movie I don't have to pay super close attention to.

For the week: Finish the quilt. It's close enough that if I work almost every day, I think I can finish by Friday. I think. It may be a lofty goal. But it's a cat-mat sized quilted item, not a human bed-sized item.

I actually got something done today! I roughed out half of a creation myth for the world I'm planning to write in for NaNoWriMo. (The great thing about mythbuilding is that it's SUPPOSED to be epic and heroic and kinda cliche, hurrah!)

Of course I still have about a billion things to do before November, but, eh.

I am way behind the schedule in writing department, but I worked on my CV and send two application letters! Like an adult doing adultly things. I am actually very proud of me.

(I also dyed my hair blond(ish) for the first time :D Things you can try when there is no boss to disapprove. Next stage - venom pink!)

Also, the sunset today was quite picturesque ♥

Good progress you all!

*Much* better this time. I'm pretty pleased with this one: it's the kind of thing I hope to accomplish with a drabble.

I have my daughter's head cold. I managed to scrape together enough brain to read a couple of Asterix comics. Nothing creative happened. No beta reading occurred.

She was under the weather for several days. I'm hoping it won't be that long for me, but who knows? For the moment, I'm trying to stop sneezing. Or at least to do it at a volume that won't wake the entire neighborhood.
