1. Posted a translation. On the main project, worked out literal prose sense of two poems.

2. Reviewed/revised a poem from the collection. Actually, I started one, realized I’d accidentally skipped ahead, and backtracked to the actual next poem. (“You are in a maze of twisty little jueju, all almost alike.”)

3. Less than 10 minutes of finger exercises.

It's hard to write people getting hurt without being too gruesome about it, LOL. And holy shit I completely forgot how to do a cut.

But it feels good that this chapter is finally coming together after ten years.

Okay, I know I said that copying images didn't count as drawing, but I really, really, really don't understand the foreshortening of the face (I thought I did, but apparently I don't) and the mobility range of necks (and hands, but that's a given), so I made some studies of people kissing. They were quick, but they were ten, so I hope that counts as drawing even if I said it wouldn't? No, seriously, you don't realize how weird to draw a kiss is until you try.

I swam for 30 min.

Alright, so I do have some things that could use some ass-kicking and/or encouraging grunts.

1. Tidying up the workshop. The bossman will be on vacation for two weeks, so I'll have to stay at the workshop for the whole duration of the opening hours, tending to the customers as well. (Not like recently where I could leave as soon as I finished my daily workload. I mean I could have tidied up after finishing the usual work, but not when it's 35 degrees and the sun hits our windows like whoa, nope thank you.) Bossman is a sloppy hoarder, 'nuff said.

2. Trying to work out Google, Facebook and Insta for the workshop. Until now we don't have one, and the Bossman is not really a digital native. Hell, he never even takes his mobile with him, or switches it on?? Anyway, I begged volunteered to try it.

I'll be updating workdays, beginning with Friday. Wish me luck, haha!
