Okay, so.
Creative shit:
I wrote a little bit (mostly editing a paragraph that was driving me crazy, but also producing a couple of dialog lines that now I need to look over and see if they are decent or not. I miss the era when I was able to write more than 20 words at a time).
Worked on the last pending task from work.
Health:
A tiny bit of self-care, so ridiculous that shouldn't count.
Did the amazing number of 6 situps and 8... I don't know the name in English. Lumbar flexing. It sounds ridiculous, but I actually prefer to start with something light.
A tiny bit of surprise socializing. I put it here because it contributes to my mental health.
Studying:
Found a Chinese progressive metal band amongst a sea of black, death and atmospheric metal or badly produced folk metal (they tend to muffle the guitars in East Asian heavy metal, especially Japan (which is why I can't stand "Babymetal"), but also China and Mongolia, apparently, and I don't understand the point of playing heavy metal if you're going to tame the fucking guitars). A band, I was saying, I actually like a lot. It took a while to find the lyrics, though. But now I'm ready to work on listening and singing, even if I won't be able to work on the tones, which is the hard part for me, because there are tons of poetic licenses when singing and the music overrules the tone and the candence. But I hope it will help with the pronunciation of "q", "zh" and "ch", at the very least, and to link syllables together.
I also prepared some worksheets for the characters I need to learn but wasn't given in class to practice, so that counts as studying even if I didn't put in the work to memorize or practice writing anything.
Others:
Did some minor shit I had been wanting to do but hadn't found the time yet.
And that's all.
