1. Posted a third translation for the week. Met goal ✅ Translated a song by a ghost 👻 and the response by the people it was annoying. Gotta love ancient China sometimes. Then a song by another ghost 👻.

(Am I delighted to discover there’s not just one but two whole chapters of Complete Tang Poems devoted to poems by and about ghosts? Yes—yes, I am.)

2. Ugh. Got nowhere. Too many distracting 👻👻.

# I MOPPED THE FLOOR. Bossman returned yesterday from his vacation, and after I moaned expressively that I cleaned the shop and bought new plants, he said, "Huh, yeah indeed, I saw it." Which is exactly the level of enthusiasm I expected from him, so no disappointment from me, really. I'm just glad I'm a) not alone anymore, and b) he's handling the customers. I just want to repair shoes, man. If I wanted to include compulsory, friendly talks in my working routine I would have become a hairdresser. Or wait, a therapist of course, for hair dressers earn next to nothing. 🙄

# Didn't branch out onto other media besides the Google Business account. But I told Bossman about the #!%&@ customer who left the bad review, and he just shook his head.

# Bonus: Cooked two pounds of green beans and ate them alone. Also, two pictures from the shop:
