Ugh. Slammed with sudden dayjob deadlines, and spent most of the weekend either working or parenting. Got very little done on anything else.

1. Posted and again. No work on any translating towards this. Yay for having a queue built up.

2. Fri one poem reviewed/partially revised—couldn’t figure out how to understand a tricky line I’d previously underestimated. Sat made my best guess and moved on to review/revise the next. Sun reviewed/revised one more. Met goal ✅

3. No plinky. I am teh sad 😞

Okay, didn't do anything, but that usually happens when I've accomplished a lot the previous day and I also have changes to acclimatize to, so I'm not beating myself too much over it. Today I should do tons of things, though. We'll see how that goes, it's getting late already.

# Finally tried setting up a Google Business account... which isn't that difficult, probably, but then someone else (let's call them Doctor Doom) obviously managed to be faster? That means I cannot make any profile changes, because I don't have admin rights for the account. Which is... grotesque. Anyway, I now kind of filed a request to be able to change account settings and/or be acknowledged as the business owner. If Doctor Doom doesn't respond by Friday we're clear. Please cross your fingers for this. *eye roll* It was a real pain in the ass generally, because at work the internet (and phone line) is super wonky due to construction work. *more eye roll*

Almost all of yesterday was consumed by a gem & mineral show that was a good hour and a half drive away. It's one of my favorites, and I was happy to see that it was a) full of vendors and b) full of buyers.

I scored a deal on a nice used jewelry loupe (a tiny magnifying glass on steroids), some lovely faceted orange spessartite garnets, and some mineral specimens for my collection.
