larryhammerAnother pan-weekend accounting.
1. Posted two translations, part of a run of five that go together. Worked on a couple main-project poems. For the side project, I actually found a Chinese commentary on the sequence w00t, but it turned out to be not very useful b00s.
2. Reviewed/revised a few poems from the collection, roughly one a day. Met goal ✅
3. Friday 10 minutes of plinky before stopping because sore pinky. Saturday also 10 minutes before stopping to try to restring a cello. Sunday also 10 minutes before stopping for further adventures in parenting, but got another 15 minutes later in the evening. Met goal one time ☑
Numbers on goal #2: of 15 poems reviewed so far, 3 took minor tweaks, 3 got medium meddling, and 9 needed major revision because of basic misreadings. So yeah, publishing the collection as it was would have been embarrassing. I should consider sitting on it even longer, after this pass, and come back to it with another year or two of experience before sending it out.
