I did write on the 31st.

Overall for the month I made some minimal progress on my programming project, wrote on 20 days, and meditated on about 15. I did some work on editing my NaNoWriMo project on some of those writing days.

Compared to my goals I didn't get very far, but then again, I didn't expect March to go like this, so I'll take what I did accomplish, and keep plugging along.

Thanks, everyone, for being here and for your kind words of encouragement and support. I treasure this community for these things. Y'all are wonderful. ♥

Okay, to be completely honest, I'm a little bit (a lot) disappointed in myself. I really expected more. At least I feel like drawing again, so I just need to beat my anxiety because I actually feel the itching to draw, I'm just holding myself back for other reasons. So I really hope to be able to overcome this at some point. Soon, if possible.

On the bright side, I wrote quite a lot and it had been months (a year and a half?) since I did it so consistently. I also think I'm getting better even if I'm still afraid my story is boring because it's not immediate enough and lacks fanservice. And I had to introduce an OC because none of the ones in canon fit the role and I needed someone like that for plot reasons. But I swear that I've never researched as much as I'm doing for this. Researched lighthouses (I even studied the fucking blueprints), miroungas, kappas, all of Lovecraft's myths, Saiyuki canon, and even how to write action scenes and how to build tension.

Also, in case you're interested, I'm posting it (one snippet per day) in AO3 here.

And, well, I think that's pretty much it.
