March 4-5 check-in

I got some work done on "A Big Day Out (and In)" (I am almost out of the emotional sex scene! Almost!) and the untitled Saiyuki gen fic, and a tiny bit done on "Heathens."

Tuesday I also had to see the eye doctor for an annual checkup and a general practitioner for a painful thing going on with my left earlobe for over a week despite antibiotics. Both are kind of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome-related. (EDS isn't just a group of inherited disorders, it's a lifestyle of getting random connective tissue problems out of nowhere.) But the eye doctor says the lenses on my eyes aren't detaching, something that's a risk for people with EDS, so yay?

March 6 check-in

Project 1: Sent review copies; sent ping about another review. Entered corrections on last two previous books and uploaded and clicked "publish". And that wraps up all the loose ends for this project yays. YAYAYAY!

(Well, except for ongoing promotion and updating my website, but that's Another Project.)

Project 2: Finished reviewing page proofs and did some spot-checks that … caught a few more tyopses … and now I'm wondering if I need to make another full pass argh.

Toady's Today's goal: Enter half the corrections from page proofs -- stretch goal being get 'em all in.

Ta da March 5: Not nearly as much done as I would have liked, but a few strips have been turned into diamonds.

To Do March 6: Do not get distracted by lovely nerds! Put on a music playlist or a documentary I don't need to actually watch while cutting fabric.

I've been out of bed a total of maybe 1.5h since before midnight? it's nearly 8p.

19:40: 2815. I...guess the segue to the matter of Émilie is closer to midpoint? Because I'm only about 300 words past the quarter mark, which I expect to be nearer 1K when fully drafted, out of an estimated 5K for the second fourth.

Book club started at 7 pm. I finished reading the book in question at 6:51. I, uh, need to not cut it so close next time. (Also obtained a new book, but it's for book club in April, so does not go on this month's count.)
