March Write Every Day:
postedstake everything total word count:
11:30: 2619. I'm trying to figure out how to segue into the Face Heel Turn attempt. And how that character can convey "I'm open to persuasion" to the antagonist and "I'm not falling for this" to the other protagonist at the same time.
I've also got a secondary goal for the day: make visible progress on cleaning my room. Though I may hold off starting that till the laundry I just put in the washer is out of the dryer, because that's where my bedsheets are, and I expect to spend more of this process flat in bed than not! Goddamn bodies.
12:35: Laundry in dryer. Reordered a couple bits of draft because onlookers need to understand not to interfere in this scene and if I move a bit earlier then onlookers can figure out
why a few minutes sooner. No added words though. Still stuck on that segue.
14:55: Laundry fetched, bed made, I flop. No added words yet; I need this to be Gabriel's move, and not blatantly so, which means Adrien can't demand an explanation—that would be
Adrien's move. I'm gonna do some 10/20s now, I think. (Like 20/10s, twenty minutes on task, ten minutes break, except vice versa.)
16:35: I lied about the timer, clearly. But I sorted some things, and I piled up some trash and recycling even if it hasn't left the room yet, and I found the cat brush, and I folded some goddamn laundry. Do you know how long it's been since I folded laundry? NEITHER DO I. No added words yet, though, there's got to be a subtler way to get there from here...
19:25: 2689. Woohoo! Forward motion! I'm pretty sure I've got the right angle now...
