Managed to find a couple hours to create a draft printbook cover -- needs tweaking, but I think the design concept will work. Doesn't look professional, but I'm not a pro at graphic design.

Updated previous ebook files to include ad mention of new publication. Contemplated what it would take to update the previous print book as well before snatching up an amulet and crying, "Avaunt!" --Later, dude, later. Holding off on publishing updated books until I'm in final proof stage.

Goal for 22 Oct: If possible, finish printbook cover. Stretch: If I do, crop and adjust that for ebook.

Welp, lots of *planning* has been done, but not much actual writing.

But considering I don't generally outline/write first drafts/stuff like that, especially for shorter pieces, that means I essentially have rough drafts of two extra Treats for Trick or Treat.

Also, because I lack common sense, I have signed up for a Saiyuki holiday challenge on Tumblr. *sigh* . The signups close tonight (bookmark here for any of you that might be interested ... I hate tumblr for this stuff).
