Adjusted print layout and page headers/footers throughout. I am … ready to start proof checks? … already? … as in now?

… ooo-kay then.

So I also distilled to PDF for a round of on-screen proofing and started scanning it.

Goals for 18 October: Fix any quirks I find, upload new PDF to CreateSpace, and request a print proof using a dummy cover. Stretch goal: Start designing the real print cover.

I'm making some progress on catching up on prompts. I haven't finished anything, but I've worked on several things. So far this month, I've worked on the prompts for days 1-4 and 6-8 and 10-12 and 16.

During the last two days, I've started a Buffy story, an Amber story, a historical RPF story, a Narnia story, a Labyrinth story, a gift story for a small fandom that shall remain nameless, and a Naruto story. I'm still seven prompts behind where I meant to be, but I can catch up if I work on two a day for most of the rest of the month.

Goodness knows if I'll ever finish any of these, but that's not my goal at the moment. It would be a nice bonus.

The cold I had came back on Tuesday, and I'm still fighting it.

9 blocks to go! I really can almost see the end! I did the last of the small oddly-shaped blocks last night, so I'm down to the 'regular' sized ones in the final column. (I did not do a great job of measuring or joining or getting the backing on. But I have learned!) My stitches are getting more regular as well!

To do: At least 3 blocks? Probably 4 tonight. Which leaves a manageable amount for me to finish during Callisto 6 Friday night.

It's definitely October, with the gross weather and colds (and worse) going around, but WE'VE GOT THIS. Every little bit of progress counts. Even words you end up tossing matter because you tried a thing! Let's go team!
