31 March check in and March wrap up

The shit did not get done. Just was not in a place to get anything done, not even looking for work, so gave myself a mental health day. At bedtime, did the very barest of HelloChinese and Duolingo reviews, just enough to not break my streaks.

March wrap-up: This comm helped -- a lot. I've made more progress this month on Chinese than the previous four combined, and I've gotten back into the swing of translating again.

Thanks again for setting this up. Let's do it again in September!

End of month wrap up

Whew. It's been an odd and stressful month for everyone - worldwide. I found that working from home made my work sort of expand into all free time, so that even if and when I felt I could write fic, I usually felt guilt that I wasn't dealing with work stuff instead. And yet my productivity was down in all areas! Bleurgh.

Anyway, during the month I wrote (and posted in the comm): two Saiyuki short fics, one Good Omens (tv-verse) short fic, and a Weiss Kreuz double-drabble. I also wrote three Good Omens (book-verse) short fics as treats for PurimGifts on the Ao3. (I posted my PurimGifts assignment just before the month started).

As spring starts in earnest (or autumn, for those in the southern hemisphere), perhaps things will improve and we'll all get our creative mojo back as well!
