March 10

Okay, not a sound success but a tiny, little bit better than yesterday and the day before.

Illustration -- managed to work on it. Now I understand what my brain is trying to protect me from, I hate drawing interiors, grrrr... Looked for references, looked at references, sketched a bit, made some decisions and also changed another frame according to how this one is going to be. SOMEDAY, WHEN I DO IT. Ehem.

Fanfic -- wrote a bit of the current snippet. It's a long snippet and it's giving me a headache to decide which information to give and in which way. What's really necessary and what's accessory? I'm allergic to people just writing paragraphs explaining shit from an omniscient point of view, so I'm trying very hard not to do it here and that means thinking a lot. Urgh.

So, yeah, that's it.

Fic: “People” (Andromeda)

Hey, guys, I finished something! Something you'd have to be familiar with the show to really get, but it still counts. Over 4,000 words.

Andromeda gen:People”   [@ AO3]
RATING: PG-13.
SPOILERS: “The Knight, Death, and the Devil” and “Bunker Hill”; a little bit for “Under the Night,” “An Affirming Flame,” and “Tunnel at the End of the Light.”
SUMMARY: Members of the AI fleet released from Tartarus have something they want to do before joining the Commonwealth, and Dylan really doesn’t like it.
NOTES: “The Knight, Death, and the Devil” ended too quickly and easily, and I will never understand how Dylan chose to deal with Earth.

No, seriously, what is wrong with me.

I didn't draw (although I nearly managed, I cleaned my table and prepared the paper and everything, it just didn't happen in the end).

I rewrote (a couple of times more) the current snippet. I mean, I edited it so heavily it's basically starting from scratch. It's a long one (I mean, for a snippet, it's less than two pages long), so I haven't finished just yet, but I expect to have it done by tomorrow. I also expect to have to edit it pretty heavily again. We'll see.

If it's any consolation, I did my taxes?
