toodle pip~

It was very inspiring reading your progress guys, so many different and creative endeavours <3

My own progress this month was far less than anticipated, but I did manage to:

- write some recreational words! (very, very little. But still n > 0)
- write some professional words which are supposed to convince people that I am a good investment :'D
- book hotel & tickets for a vacation! (yay)
- take lots of nice images of the most photogenic Göttingen autumn ever~

I have to admit though.... the balance between ideas/accomplishments still leans towards ideas (very, very heavily so). But I did a lot of organizational and RL stuff in between day dreaming, so it's ok. Also, started tinkering on a Memory Gun from Gravity Falls (because why the hell not).

Late, as I tend to be, but...

... I just wanted to thank you all for taking part in this month of doing (pretty cool) shit. I sort of intend to finish the sort of story I had sort of going on, but I have a certain number of items on my plate right now, like traveling home for a few days (which took the whole day of yesterday, I replied to posts from the lousy wifi on the plane) and worrying if I should or should not go to the hospital because, apparently, I can't bend my left knee without screaming in pain. So I haven't been very present at the end, but know that I'm very happy with the results of October and all your fantastic support. Unfortunately, I don't have the kind of energy required to organize or take part in another challenge so soon (especially with my lack of continued access to the Internet), so I was thinking on January for a next edition (you know, New Year, New Life, boost of motivation...). You are, of course, free to keep on posting and supporting each other without me, but I won't be able to participate because, as much as I love this, I do need breaks from this kind of time/attention-consuming events.

Thank you so very much again, it's been great thanks to all of you! :D

11/1 check in

Ta da: I discovered the power supply I thought went to my sewing machine does not fit! Not the result I was expecting at all, but it does narrow down my options to (1) find power supply and hope it works, then get the old machine tuned up for a total of ~$150, knowing that if it needs repair it will cost even more, or (2) acquire new machine for ~$150-$200.
I am leaning toward 2, honestly. Anyone else have opinions?

To do 11/2: Cut fabric for quilt block and research new machines (!!).

Edit Bought the new machine! It should arrive next weekend!
