My plans for October!

To be honest, they are not half as interesting of well structured as indelicateink's, but...

I'm planning on writing a micro-fic (just a couple of lines, no plot, no pressure, no linearity) every day. Even if I think they suck. Because I've stopped writing and I don't think that's acceptable (I mean, it is acceptable, but I don't like it, I miss writing, dammit). I was considering 58 (that means the pairing in the manga/anime Saiyuki, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the numbers) because they are familiar and comfortable and I love them dearly, so, yeah, not going out of my comfort zone, not at least in this initial stage. BUT, nothing is set in stone, we'll see.

And well, that's pretty much it.

PROMPTS I: GENERAL PROMPTING

Okay, the time has come to talk about prompts. Because most of us (I totally do) work better if prompted, but it might be a bit messy if we make different posts for this, so I think we can put our free prompts in the comments for authors/artists to look at them and get inspired. This is all about non-specifically targeted prompts, that means that they are not supposed to be addressed to anybody in particular and anyone interested can grab it.

Prompting can take many forms: loose words, lines, lyrics, photographs, paintings, music, situations, kinks, riddles... even if they are not targeted to an author/artist in particular they can be fandom specific or about a character or pairing. They are meant to serve as inspiration, not as much as an obligation, so authors/artists are meant to interpret them freely and modify them at will. Just go wild, even if it's not something that you are dying to see it might help other people to get some ideas.

So, yeah, just put some prompts in the comments to help the creative juices start to flow!

PROMPTS II: SPECIFIC PROMPTING

As well as the general prompting, I think some of us might be dying to see something from an author/artist in particular or some creator might want specific prompts of a certain format targeted at her/him. This is the place for it.

Every participant that wants to receive specific prompts is to write a comment on this post. People who would like to prompt them will reply to that comment so that they get the notification. You can ask for something related to old works by that person or provide ideas to someone who welcomes, I don't know, playlists to work with, for example. Does it make sense?

I'm totally open to suggestions about how to go about this if you have a better idea!
